Living for the last day of the month
Its been quite a time since i found time to blog as i was either travelling or had no access to net. I am just back in Mumbai after a refreshing and an abosultely wonderful trip to the Himalayas. I have promised a photo blog for the few people who do read this blog and i sure will find some time to do it over the next week. Even i have a lot to write about:)
Forgive me for harping over the same subjects (actually this may drive away few people who do read my blog), but a conversation with my best freind and what he said is why i am writing this post.
I was talking to Ganesh a few days back and he said to me that he is looking for options in HR in Infosys. I was aghast. I have always looked up to Ganesh for being focussed, deidicated and 100% into his job unlike many of us. But when he of all people said he doesnt care about what he does until he makes money, i must say i was disappointed.
And this is true of so many of we youngsters. Blame it on our education system, on a society that considers money in direct propotion to respect and dignity of labor or on lack of individual courage ( this is in my case) most of us knowingly or unknowingly live for the last day of the month.
